1. How do you make your soap?
My soaps are made by two methods:
Cold process- This method consists of sodium hydroxide or lye reacting with water, then with common oils or fats, which together perform a process known as saponification; this renders the soap. This process was at one time rudimentary, whereas now, we have the means to use formulas to make specific calculations using exact ratios of fats to the lye/water reaction. I say this because I know there are those out there who remember Grandma's soap and it may have burned or caused irritation because of the guess work that once went into the soap making process. My soaps contain olive oil, nut based butters and vegetable derived oils; whereas at one time, animal fats were used most often in this process. Due to animal fats ability to become rancid, this practice is not used as often as in the past.
Today, soaps one might find in the store mainly consist of synthetic ingredients.
Glycerin or Melt & Pour- This process begins with a pre-made base soap that is either clear or white. Some bases have hemp, honey or goat milk.Then, I add my creativity and place in prefabricated molds. Thinking of what can be used as a mold is the fun part.

3. Do you make baskets for men?

4. The shipping is a large amount at check out; is this correct or how do I get past this?
There is an estimated shipping listed. Please place your postal code(zip code) in the designated box and hit update next to your postal code and this should give you a more reasonable # for shipping.
5. I purchased some Clear Passage Drops and the plastic part of the cap or the rubber part of the dropper seemed to disintegrate....
These problems have been addressed and the bottles now have orfice reducers that let the bottle itself become a dropper and caps with a liner. Please store these bottles as upright as possible.
